Binney has spent the better part of the last decade leading client projects with Kepner-Tregoe, the premier consultancy for improving how people think through and resolve issues. While specializing in designing and implementing improved business processes, Binney frequently coached his clients to enhance their project management skills.<\/p>\n<p>KT\u2019s engagements brought him to four continents, 45 states, northern Canada refineries in the winters and central <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-547\" src=\"https:\/\/b-spoke.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/globe.png?w=720\" alt=\"globe\" width=\"479\" height=\"203\" \/>Mexico glass factories in the summers. He developed a reputation among his colleagues as a royal pain-in-the-ass when it came to restaurants and hotels, but he made no apologies for demanding good service; he spent his first eight years after grad school leading organizational development and operations at several of Westin Hotels and Resorts\u2019 landmark properties. (Where, as a former employee reminded him not too long ago, he was \u201coverworked, underpaid, and nobody liked [him].\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>Before becoming a consultant, Binney coordinated global sourcing and procurement for a US-based consumer goods manufacturer.
